Refund Policy

1. General Policy

At RinAcademy, we strive to provide high-quality English tutoring. We understand that plans can change, and we have established a fair refund policy for both students and tutors.

2. Lesson Cancellations

More than 24 Hours Notice

If you cancel a scheduled lesson more than 24 hours before the start time, you are entitled to:

  • A full rescheduling of the lesson at no extra cost.
  • A full refund of the lesson fee to your original payment method (upon request).

Less than 24 Hours Notice

If you cancel a scheduled lesson less than 24 hours before the start time:

  • The lesson will be considered "Late Cancelled".
  • No refund will be issued, and the lesson credit will be forfeited.
  • Exceptions may be made for documented emergencies at the sole discretion of RinAcademy.

3. Tutor Cancellations and No-Shows

  • If your tutor cancels a lesson at any time, you will receive a full lesson credit or a full refund.
  • If your tutor does not join the lesson within 10 minutes of the start time ("No-Show"), you are entitled to a full refund plus one free lesson credit as compensation.

4. Technical Issues

If a lesson cannot be completed due to technical issues on the RinAcademy platform or the tutor's end, you will receive a full refund or lesson credit. We are not responsible for technical issues on the student's end (e.g., poor internet connection).

5. Package Refunds

Unused lessons in a package can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, provided none of the lessons have been used. If some lessons have been used, the used lessons will be charged at the standard single-lesson rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

6. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@rinacademy.com with your booking details and the reason for the request. Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days.
