Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Rin Academy, operated by Rin Academy Oy, registered in Oulu, Finland. By creating an account you agree to them.

What we provide

Rin Academy runs small-group English programmes for engineers and technical professionals. A programme is a fixed cohort that meets weekly for a set number of sessions with one instructor. Session times, length, and cohort size are shown before you enrol.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. One account is for one person; seats are not transferable without our agreement.

Enrolment and payment

A cohort seat is confirmed once payment is received. Prices shown include Finnish VAT for consumers. Refunds and cancellations are covered by our refund policy and by Finnish and EU consumer law.

Acceptable use

Sessions are recorded so that we can give you feedback and keep your error log. Do not record, republish, or share session content or other participants' contributions outside the cohort without consent. Treat the group with respect.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Finnish law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
